Yesterday we spent some time creating MiseEnPlace (putting everything in its place) to be ready to assemble multiple varieties of nutritious vegetarian pizza. The kids learned a bit about culinary knife cuts and how to look at shapes, colors and textures. The bonus was we did that while creating pizza!!! Once everyone was finished, we all washed dishes and cleaned the kitchen. It was a fabulous class and I can't wait for the next one in two weeks!
